Oct 13, 2008 - I really like the bank manager comparison because it's funny. Do you think the lady might be your aunt? :) Perhaps that's why they used to play this song a lot in your dwelling.

Nov 2, 2008 - Actualy, I have the "Music For Biscuits" CD. It has a big picture of Mike smiling on the inside of the cover. I also have the "It Had To Be You" CD. On the inside of the CD cover is a picture of Mike with grayish hair. Mike Sammes sort of reminds me of my former boss at my current job. His name is Mike Kmetz.

Nov 2, 2008 - Can anyone define each person in that fantastic sextent of singers??
happy7117 Says:
Nov 2, 2008 - Typo. Meant to say sextet. That would mean a group of 6 singers.

Dec 14, 2008 - Wow, thank you so much for this post! I loved the MSS so much. They were so "gentle" on the ears back then. I would love to hear "sing something simple" again. I haven't heard that one for decades. T/y..:)

Jan 6, 2009 - I also loved these singers on Radio 2 on Sunday afternoons. Life was so much slower and not as noisy as it is today. It truly was a different planet back then. I wish we could go back to the quiet, long days. I wish, I wish...:)
