Bryan Parker was born in Philadelphia Mississippi but currently lives in the City of Compton California [since the age of two]. He attended Emerson Elementary, Roosevelt Middle and Dominguez High Schools in Compton. He has obtained a Certificate of Completion in Child Development Teacher Private License Preschool-Bilingual/Bicultural Education (Los Angeles Southwest College); Certificate of Achievement in Recreation Leadership and an Associates in Science Degree with High Honor in General Education (Compton Community College & El Camino College[Dean's List]); double majored with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Psychology and Recreation & Leisure Studies - General Recreation Administration (California State University, Dominguez Hills) and is currently studying Marital and Family Therapy. It is his sincere aspiration and mission to self-actualize in God's goodwill and favor by striving to be intellectually, spiritually, and physically balanced. He endeavors to be someone who is fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and somewhat interesting in his interactions with others; someone whose looking to thrive and accomplish positive goals that benefit all of mankind, while staying sufficiently well-balanced in his pursuit, not letting accomplishments go to his "head". He looks to be very pleasant in his interactions with others, demonstrating a kind overall disposition and presentation, as well as maintain a willingness to be considerate of other's wishes and desires, irregardless of personal differences or similarities; someone looking to build a strong relationship with immediate family and close friends, as well as contribute positively to the development of community. Others may judge him as sensible, cautious, careful or overly practical in his pursuits. Many may view him as destructively clever, positively gifted or talented, but modest and humble. He is not a person who makes friends too quickly, but gets along well with most; he's someone whos extremely loyal to those who he considers friends and expects the same loyalty in return. Those who really understand him realize it takes a lot to shake his trust in relationships but, equally, it takes him a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken. He loves sports, particularly basketball, as he played high school varsity basketball at Dominguez in the City of Compton for three years. He also enjoys studying and researching psychological issues, particularly in the area of marriage and family. Love hanging-out in positive areas of his community; various universities appreciating the art of spoken-words, plays, theatrical events, comic venues, and spending time with his family, attending church and reading. He has a multicultural understanding and appreciation for all music. He supports all movies that strive to uplift his ethnicity and not accommodate negative stereotyping. He normally views educational and sports games on TV, particularly basketball. His Local Access Cable Talk Show has kicked off. Most of you are quite aware that the purpose of the show is to serve our community as a tool in providing a platform to discuss many psychological concepts of mental and relationship development. Trust me... trust me!!! he is having fun with this project. He is also looking for your continued support. The Show is broadcasting on channel 28/ Time Warner Cable in the City of Compton and there may be a chance that the program will "bicycled" to many of our surrounding cities. In addition to the Bible and psychology texts, he enjoys all books that provide opportunities to gain a better understanding of psychological issues, which includes understanding human behavior.
