I travel the country, limiting myself to airshows in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, New York, and Rhode Island (with some notable exceptions) to capture the very best airshows and share them with you all. My days at an airshow usually start out very early and end very late - sometimes as early as 3:00 AM to as late as 11:00 PM, depending if I'm traveling to a show site or enjoying the last bits of a nighttime airshow. Approximately 99% of the video you see here was shot by me (with exceptions that I will list) and uploaded for your viewing pleasure. It is up to YOU to help me expand beyond and hit up airshows on the West Coast, down South, and beyond the United States! I do not do this for a living - if I wanted to, someone would have to shell out BIG bucks to pay me to do this and cover all my travel expenses at the same time. I've always had a passion for flight ever since I was a little kid, and have always enjoyed going to airshows since I was a little kid. I have since gradually stepped up my airshow attendance to where I am today. I only attend airshows that I really would like to attend and usually shoot down all requests from people begging me to attend a certain airshow. Please do yourself a favor and check out Steve's Airshow World, as it is the best way to view all of the videos I have on YouTube (and sorted in the correct order on each of the respective airshow's video pages). If you really like what you see here and would like to get some of the video on a DVD, check out the Steve's Airshow World Store, which has DVDs of many different types of aircraft as well as several different airshow DVDs. All aircraft-specific DVDs contain demonstration footage of those aircraft at many different airshows across the country from many different airshow seasons. Those DVDs are directed towards the die-hard airshow fans and aviation enthusiasts who can't get enough of airshows and aviation. Some of you may look at this and think that I am a professional. Let me assure you that I am not. I would label myself as a step or two under the professional level. I do not own a multi-thousand dollar high definition video camera. I shoot all of this with consumer video cameras - the same cameras you can buy at stores like Best Buy, Circuit City, Sears, etc. I do not have any professional video editing software to get the job done. If you've come here to see footage of airplanes crashing at airshows, you've come to the wrong place. Because a large number of the pilots, aircrew, and even airshow announcers featured in my videos are close friends of mine, I will NOT post a video of an accident that I would have the unfortunate chance of catching UNLESS there was a positive outcome (all pilots/crew involved survive). This is out of respect to everyone I know and also to respect my reputation in the airshow industry. In addition to shooting video at airshows, I do the occasional spotting trip. Back when I went to college, I had amassed a lot of time near New York City, and as a result, I was able to go spotting at JFK pretty often - back when the bridge tolls and gas prices were semi-reasonable. Nowadays, I don't get out to do much spotting, but I usually limit myself to PHL and any small airports near where I live. Any time I have been lucky to get up in an aircraft and bring the video camera along will also be highlighted here. Finally, you will occasionally see many videos on here that exceed YouTube's 10-minute limit. I, along with several select YouTube members, were fortunate enough to be able to do this under one of their programs before YouTube started prohibiting longer videos. Those who were able to upload videos longer than ten minutes in the past (like myself) can continue to do so, and I thank YouTube for allowing that to continue. Please, NO MORE QUESTIONS on how you can upload longer videos. Please don't come complaining to me that you can't upload a long video because I will not help you nor will I tell you why I can do it. ALSO, the videos you see here are original, and I will not grant permission for use of these videos on another's YouTube account. Enjoy and spread the word!Videos (2304)
